Newsletter - 2008

To all our valued clients and prospective clients (friends)

As the 2008 season drew to a close middle of November, we can yet again look back on a very successful season. We sold a total of 140 hunting days this season.

Although the tough economic situation worldwide did put a damper on hunter numbers, the real “go getters” still enjoyed their dream hunts.

You know what they say “a hunter stays a hunter” and he will always make a plan.

I am happy to report that we had a lot of first timers to Africa and what a pleasure to make their dream trip a memorable one. Clients came from Georgia as usual, Texas, California, Missouri, New Jersey and Spain.

Ricky RobertsRicky Roberts got some excellent video on his trip and made a very good running head shot!! -Say no more.

To the return clients/friends, thanks guys for your continuous support, I guess we are doing something right.

As I mentioned last year we were concentrated more on big game this year and I am happy to report that we had numerous successful hunts in Zambia. The main species taken were Buffalo with the normal other species on offer.

Allow me to single out one person – Janette King/Walker from Perry Georgia, this year was her 3rd year hunting buffalo – Zambia 06, Tanzania 07 and Zambia 08, I can now with all honesty say that she is a real African hunter and can take anything that wild Africa can throw at her without any complaints. And again she was successful with some awesome shooting and excellent trophies!

Lets hope that the world economy will pick up and that all will benefit from it. Our rainy season has started and it looks like it will be a good one.

Of course I would not have managed to have a successful season without the help of a great many people. I would again like to thank everybody for his or her commitment and hard work. All the agents, friends, camp staff, skinners, landowners, Dip Pack, the NTA and my dear wife IRENE.

Last but not least, I would like to thank you, the clients, for your support and continued support. You came as clients but left as friends.
